How to Get More Luck in Anime Dice
Where Luck comes from
The clover counter in the bottom-right corner of the screen shows your current Luck. On a brand-new account with the Normal dice it reads x2. These are the things that raise it:
| Source | How much | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Dice | 2x (Normal) up to 150,000,000x (Toxic) | Dice Shop |
| Rebirth | 1.5x after the first rebirth, 17.5x at the highest step seen | Rebirth |
| Upgrade tree | Luck I to Luck V (Luck V costs $80M) | Upgrades |
| Luck pass | 1.5x Luck | Shop |
| VIP pass | 1.5x Luck and 1.5x Cash | Shop |
| Ultra Luck pass | 3x Luck | Shop |
| Green potions | Timed Luck boosts that drop in towers, such as Leaf Luck III | Towers |
| Lucky Spin | 100x Luck on your next roll | Codes, Quests shop, group reward |
| Jackpot Spin | 1,000x Luck on your next roll | Robux shop |
The biggest lever: your dice
Each dice in the shop roughly doubles the Luck of the one before it. Going from Ice (100x) to Magma (200x) doubles your Luck for $30M; going from Chrono (25,000,000x) to Cyber (62,500,000x) multiplies it by 2.5 for $100Sx. Because rebirth multiplies both Luck and Cash, the usual loop is: buy the next dice, rebirth when the button turns green, earn the Cash back, buy the next dice.
One-roll boosts: Lucky Spins and Jackpot Spins
- Lucky Spin (item tooltip: “Applies 100x luck to your next roll”). You get them from codes (24 in total), the Quests shop (20 Tickets each) and the group reward (2).
- Jackpot Spin (“1,000x Luck multiplier on next roll!”). Sold in the Shop for Robux: 79 for one, 379 for five, 749 for ten at list price. The Jackpot Roll button on the right side of the screen buys one.
Both are spent on your very next roll. Codes that give Lucky Spins use them straight away, so turn Auto Roll off before redeeming if you want to see the result.
Stack boosts before a big roll
In his Update 4 video, RexonSIM saves his boosts for one session: he turns off Auto Roll, drinks every Luck potion he has, then uses Lucky Spins and Jackpot Spins while all the potions are running. The potions are timed (the timers show in the bottom-right corner), so drinking them together means every boosted roll gets all of them at once.
Luck is not the only thing that matters
A high-Luck roll gives you a rarer unit, but what that unit earns also depends on its level, its grade and its trait. A viewer on a Superlex Plays video points out that Equip Best ranks units by the money they make, so a well-upgraded unit can beat a rarer one that was never leveled. Balance Luck upgrades with the Money branch so you can afford the next dice.
