Two steps were not shown in any video we checked (6.5x to 8.5x and 11x to 14x), so there could be more steps between the ones listed. The 1.5x to 2x cost of $5M comes from SpaceQT's on-screen notes rather than the Rebirth window itself, so treat it as unconfirmed until a second source shows the window.

How rebirth works

• Press Rebirth on the left side of the screen. The window shows your current multiplier, the next one, and a progress bar with your Cash against the cost.
• The button turns green when you have enough. After pressing it, the game shows "Rebirth successful!" and your Cash goes to $0.
• The multiplier applies to Luck and Cash together. It stacks with your dice Luck and the Luck and Cash game passes.
• Some plot pads carry a rebirth label (for example Rebirth 3 and Rebirth 4 near the base in the tutorial footage), so higher rebirths also open more space for units. The official Update 4 notes list "1 new rebirth" and "1 new unit slot" as separate additions.

When to rebirth

Each cost is 100 times the one before it from $50K up to $500T, then 20 times to $10Qd. Because your units stay on the plot, the Cash you lose comes back quickly: in RustScroll's video the player took the 2.5x to 3x rebirth at $50B and was back at $54B a little over two minutes later. Rebirth as soon as the button is green unless you are a few seconds from buying a dice or an upgrade you want first.

Before the second rebirth, put Cash into the Money branch of the upgrade tree. The Rebirth window lists only Cash as reset, and more income per second shortens every climb after it.
