How the price climbs
Almost every step up the list doubles your Luck, while the price goes up about 7 to 8 times. The exceptions are the first purchase (Fire is 2.5x the Luck of Normal but 2,500 times the price, since Normal costs $1) and the top of the list, where Prismatic, Corrupted and Chrono each give 2.5x the Luck of the dice before them and cost 10 to 15 times more. So the later you are in the game, the more a single dice upgrade costs relative to what it adds.
That is why most guides tell you to put early Cash into the Money branch of the upgrade tree first: more income per second gets you to the next dice faster than buying the next dice gets you more income. Luck from dice also stacks with rebirths, the Luck game passes on the shop page and the potions that drop in towers.
Update 4 dice
The official Update 4 notes list "2 new dice" and "1 new rarity". In the Dice Shop after the update, the two dice below Chrono are Cyber (Secret I) and Toxic (Secret II), and no dice before the update used the Secret II label. The notes for Update 5, scheduled for September 19, 2026, had not been published when this page was checked.

Luck and price were the same in every video that showed the same dice. Dice you already own show Equip instead of a price, so prices were taken from players who had not bought that dice yet.

What is the best dice in Anime Dice?
Toxic, a Secret II dice added in Update 4, with 150,000,000x Luck for $750Sx. Below it are Cyber (62,500,000x, $100Sx), also new in Update 4, and Chrono (25,000,000x, $15Sx).
Do I keep my dice when I rebirth?
Rebirthing resets your Cash, which is what the Rebirth window warns about. In the videos we checked, players kept their bought dice marked "Equip" or "Equipped" in the shop after rebirthing and only had to earn Cash again for the next one.
How much Luck does a new player start with?
A new account starts with the Normal dice, which gives 2x Luck and costs $1 in the tutorial. The clover counter in the bottom-right corner of the screen shows x2 at that point.
What do Qd, Qi, Sx and Sp mean in prices?
They are number names: Qd is quadrillion (10^15), Qi is quintillion (10^18), Sx is sextillion (10^21) and Sp is septillion (10^24). So Black Hole at $1Qd costs a thousand times more than a $1T purchase.
